Getafe suffers a defeat against Sevilla by 0-2


A bad result for Sevilla losing at home against Getafe, which claims its second victory for the season.

Getafe picked up a 0-2 victory from their Sunday trip to Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán. Sevilla went into the game following a loss in their last match while the visitors had drawn theirs. Following this result, Sevilla claims the twelfth position, while despite the victory, Getafe remains fifth.

The match started favourably for the visitors. Getafe opened the scoring through Ángel after 4 minutes.Before half-time, Sevilla added another goal in the 38, thanks to Ángel , and led 0-2 at half-time.

There were no goals in the second half of the game and the score did not change, the match ended with the final 0 – 2.

Both sides employed all three substitutions. Ben Yedder, Vázquez and Promes came on for Sevilla replacing Roque Mesa, Nolito and Aleix Vidal, while Getafe brought on Shibasaki, Foulquier and Cristóforo for Ángel, Amath and Djené.

The referee dished out nine players with the yellow card. He showed three yellow cards ( Roque Mesa, Navas and Banega ) to Sevilla and six ( Cabrera, Djené, Antunes, Amath, Bruno and Foulquier ) to Getafe.

After their victory, Getafe are fifth with 7 points, while the team managed by Pablo Machín sits at the twelfth position with 4 points.

On the following day, Sevilla will play against Levante while Getafe will face Atlético de Madrid.
