Eibar and Levante played out a four – four draw at Municipal de Ipurua on Sunday. Eibar went into the game following a loss in their last match while the visitors had won theirs. With this result, Eibar are fourteenth while Levante are sixth.
The match started favourably for the locals. Eibar opened the scoring through Sergi Enrich after 8 minutes.The visitors leveled the match with a goal by Morales on 10 minutes. Levante turned the game around thanks to a goal by Rober in minute 26 minute to lead 1-2 at half-time.
In the second half, the locals broke the deadlock with a goal by Escalante after 57 minutes.In minute 61 Eibar scored once again to turn the match around through a goal penalti by Charles to give themselves a convincing 3-2 lead and that is how the score remained. Eibar further extended their lead with a goal by Charles in minute 65. Levante closed the gap through Toño with a goal .The visitors leveled the game in minute 92 with a goal by Mayoral and earned a 4-4 draw.
Eibar brought on De Blasis, Kike and Arbilla in place of Orellana, Sergi Enrich and Ramis, while Levante introduced Cabaco, Roger and Toño for Coke, Mayoral and Boateng.
The referee for this match showed four yellow cards, Escalante and Cote for Eibar and Toño and Campaña for Levante.
Levante sits at the sixth position with 22 points, and the team managed by José Luis Mendilibar claims the fourteenth position with 19 points.
The next day, both teams will play in home. Eibar team do so against Valencia, while Levante will face Barcelona.
