Celta 2-0 Huesca


Celta landed all three points in their game against Huesca.

Celta secured a 2-0 victory in front of their home crowd on Saturday. Before kick off, the home team had gained 4 out of a possible 15 points in their last fixtures, while the visitors had draw their most recent game. Following this good result, Celta claims the thirteenth position, while despite the defeat, Huesca stays in the lead.

The local team took the lead thanks to a goal by Iago Aspas in minute 38 and the first half ended 1 to 0.

Following the break, Celta extended their lead and went on to claim a 2-0 victory with the last by Iago Aspas in minute 77.

Both coaches used their full set of substitutions. For the home team Hjulsager, Beltrán and Mor came on for Boufal, Brais Méndez and Iago Aspas, while Huesca brought on Gürler, Aguilera and Chimy Ávila to replace Álex Gallar, Musto and David Ferreiro.

The referee showed five yellow cards, booking Boufal and Rubén for the home team and Cucho, Musto and Etxeita for the visitors.

On the following day, Celta will play against Villarreal in away while Huesca will face Real Madrid home.
